Tampa, FL -- Carl Pavano threw four scoreless innings, leading the New York Yankees to a 5-2 victory over Pittsburgh in Grapefruit League play on Monday.

Tino Martinez homered for the Yankees, who scored four runs in the first inning off Pittsburgh starter Dave Williams.

Ty Wigginton and Jose Castillo each drove in a run in the seventh off Yankees reliever Steve Karsay.
