2009 WHITE TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- State police in Indiana County said an armed robber ran away after a gas station clerk in White Township refused his demands for cash.According to police reports, shortly after 4 a.m. Friday, a man entered the Sunoco on Oakland Avenue and threatened the clerk with a utility knife, demanding all the money in the cash register.When the clerk refused to hand over the cash, the suspect ran out of the station.The suspect is described as a white make, between the ages of 25 and 30, approximately 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with white lettering on the front and blue jeans. The suspect was also wearing black gloves with white palms and fingetips.Police also said witnesses described the suspect as having what appeared to be black permanent maker lines drawn on his face.Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact police.
