2009 WHITE TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- An Indiana County man who died in a house fire in White Township's Shadowood community was one of the owners of Ironwood Grille in Indiana, according to the county coroner.Just before 8 p.m. Sunday, a neighbor said he heard an explosion and saw a fire at 213 Courtland Drive.The body was discovered in the basement of the house around 9 p.m. and was later identified as Jhan Francis Learn, 57.Firefighters from three companies -- Indiana Fire Association, Homer City and Coral-Graceton VFD -- worked for several hours to control the blaze.An autopsy found that Learn did not die from the explosion and was alive for a period of time during the fire until he suffered from smoke inhalation, Coroner Michael Baker said.The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the state police fire marshal.More Indiana County news...
