REDSTONE TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Speed and alcohol contributed to a fatal crash that killed a 26-year-old man in Fayette County on Friday night, according to the coroner's office.
Emergency crews were called to Fairbank Herbert Road in Redstone Township at about 10 p.m.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that the Fayette County coroner said it appears a man driving the car was speeding and lost control. Empty alcohol containers were found in the car.
The unidentified driver was not wearing a seat belt, and a woman in the car was seriously injured.
