4 Young Women Attacked In Fayette; Shots FiredMan Tries To Intervene, Gets Into Fight With AssailantsPOSTED: 5:00 pm EDT October 18, 2009 SOUTH UNION TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Those who shot at four women and a man who tried to protect them in Fayette County on Saturday afternoon remains at large.State police said they are familiar with the armed person or people who attacked the four victims -- all of whom are women ranging in ages from 15 to 21 -- at about 2:15 p.m. at an apartment complex on Tuskegee Terrace in South Union Township. Police did not identify the known assailants.Investigators said Anthony Hunter, 19, tried to intervene during an altercation against the women. During his attempt, a physical fight ensued and a man fired shots.State police did not indicate whether anyone was injured, and no arrests were announced.
