Myspace is free but you must register.

Go to MySpace.com, and click on "Sign Up." Fill out the form and you're a member.

To find your child's MySpace page, the easiest thing to do is to click on "Search." Then, click on search using e-mail.

Type in your son or daughter's entire e-mail address, for example "Ryan@aol.com."

You should be brought to their home page. Click on "View Profile."

Usually, friends' messages are on the bottom right of the page. If you click on a friend's picture or icon, you will be taken to that friend's MySpace page.

Remember, experts have said you should warn your child that you are going to look at their Web site, and be prepared to talk reasonably about how they present themselves on the Web.

They must also be aware of any dangers or repercussions they may face if they are too provocative or revealing. You don't want to end up alienating your child; just let them know you are showing concern.
