4th Of July Holiday ClosingsMany Offices Won't Be Open FridayUPDATED: 11:22 am EDT July 3, 2009 PITTSBURGH -- All city, county, state and federal offices and courts will be closed on Friday for the Fourth of July holiday.Post offices will be open and mail will be delivered on Friday. No mail will be delivered on Saturday.Port Authority buses and trolleys will operate as normal on Friday, but the holiday schedule will be in effect on Saturday. Check the Port Authority Web site for specific route information.State liquor stores will be open Friday and closed Saturday.Garbage collection is not affected by the holiday.Check with your local bank branch for holiday hours.
