RIVERDANCE CONTEST RULES
- By submitting an online entry form through ThePittsburghChannel.com or by mailing a post card to WTAE TV for this contest, sponsored by Internet Broadcasting Systems, WTAE-TV, PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pittsburgh Symphony and Clear Channel Entertainment (the "Sponsors") the entrant acknowledges and agrees to all of the contest rules.
- No purchase necessary to enter or to win.
- The contest is open to legal U.S. residents, who are 18 years of age or older.
- Void where prohibited
- Rules subject to change
- Limit one entry per person
- Contest begins March 19-April 6, 2003
- To enter online, entrants may register by visiting thePittsburghChannel.com and complete an on-line entry form, or by mailing in a post card - no sealed envelopes- including: Name, Address, Daytime Phone and Age to Riverdance Contest, 400 Ardmore Boulevard, Pgh, PA 15221
- The Prize: Four (4) tickets to the Pittsburgh performance of Riverdance on April 16, 2003 at Pittsburgh Symphony Heinz Hall and four (4) gift certificates in the amount of twenty-five dollar ($25) each to Max and Erma's.
- Approximate Prize value: $326
- Winner will be drawn on Monday, April 7, 2003
- The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received by Sunday, April 6, 11:59pm
EST.
- One winner will be selected in a random drawing by employees of WTAE-TV &/or Internet Broadcasting Systems Inc. from all eligible, correct entries.
- Winner will be notified by e-mail or by phone the day of the drawing. Winner must respond within 24 hours of notification. Any prize notification returned to the Sponsor as undeliverable will result in awarding of the prize to an alternate winner. Three alternate winners will be selected from a random drawing of all eligible, correct entries and will be contacted in the order drawn. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.
- The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries, or for incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete entry information whether caused by a contestant, equipment, or technical malfunction or for any human error, technical error or malfunction. The Sponsor is not responsible for failure of any electronic equipment, computer transmission, or network or phone line connections.
- Prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Transfer of prize is strictly prohibited.
- Any federal, state or local tax or other fees, or charges associated with the receipt or use of any prize shall be the sole responsibility of the winner.
- Winner may be required to submit valid identification to the Sponsor and to execute an affidavit of eligibility and a liability release, and a publicity release, where legally permissible, prior to be awarded a prize. If winner fails to submit any such information, as requested, such winner will be disqualified and a new one will be drawn from the alternates.
- Acceptance of the prize offered constitutes permission to use the winners' names and/or likeness for advertising/trade purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
- The Sponsors assumes no responsibility or liability for damages, losses or injuries resulting from use of or acceptance of any prize. By entering the contest, winners agree to release all participating Sponsors from any and all liability for injuries sustained through the use of the prize.
- All federal, state and local laws apply. Receipt of prize shall be conditioned upon compliance with any applicable federal, state and local laws.
- The Sponsors reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to interpret compliance with the letter and intent of these rules, and to disqualify any entrant deemed to have violated these rules or to have filled out any application incorrectly at any time prior to the distribution of prize.
- Immediate family members and employees of WTAE, Hearst-Argyle Television, Inc., Internet Broadcasting Systems, Inc., PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pittsburgh Symphony and Clear Channel Entertainment and each of their respective parent companies, agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, suppliers, prize suppliers for the contest and their immediate families (spouse, and parents, children, and siblings, and their respective spouses) and individuals living in the households of the above and advertising agencies, are not eligible.
