Dylan, Roots, Many Others Part Of Pittsburgh's Big New Summer Music Festival
'New American Music Union' Concerts Coming To South Side Works

PITTSBURGH -- Bob Dylan and His Band, The Raconteurs, Gnarls Barkley and The Roots are all part of a new, two-day music festival planned in Pittsburgh this summer.The New American Music Union festival -- set for Aug. 8-9 at the South Side Works -- combines established acts with upcoming college bands. "My experience tells me that concerts can be life changing. That is how I approached putting this lineup together," said Red Hot Chili Peppers singer Anthony Kiedis, who organized the event with American Eagle Outfitters. "The thrill of seeing Bob Dylan next to The Raconteurs next to Gnarls Barkley next to The Roots is reason for us all to celebrate."
