Thousands of Hannah Montana fans who couldn't get tickets to her live concert via the official fan club Web site now have legal recourse.

Robert Peirce & Associates, of Pittsburgh, and a Memphis, Tenn.-based law firm, said they have filed suit against Interactive Media Marketing Incorporated and Smiley Miley Incorporated on behalf of anyone who joined the official Miley Cyrus Fan Club at www.MileyWorld.com.

According to the law firms, the site made it seem that joining the fan club would make it easier to get Hannah Montana concert tickets.

"They deceptively lured thousands of individuals into purchasing memberships, and that's why we're suing," said Peirce.

According to the lawsuit, Interactive Media and Smiley Miley, both Tennessee-based companies, knew or should have known that its membership vastly exceeded the number of available tickets.

The lawsuit is asking for damages for all members of the class-action suit and recovery of all attorneys' fees.

Both law firms are asking people who joined the Miley Cyrus Fan Club and couldn't buy tickets to a Hannah Montana show to call 800-543-9859 or go to www.PeirceLaw.com.
