2007 PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- The filming of the new Ryan Reynolds film, "Adventureland," tied up traffic in Shady Side Friday.Film crews were shooting on South Negley Avenue.A portion of the movie, which is a comedy set in 1987 about a college graduate who takes a job at an amusement park, has already been shot at Kennywood Park.Actor Jesse Eisenberg and actress Kristen Stewart also star in the film.Greg Mottola, who directed the summer blockbuster hit "Superbad," directs "Adventureland" as well. The movie is based around Mottola's own life. He worked in the real Adventureland in Long Island, N.Y., after college.
