NCAA Game Summary - Wisconsin-Green Bay At Wright State

(Sports Network) - N'Gai Evans converted a layup with 9.2 seconds left, delivering the Wright State Raiders a 65-64 win over the Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix in a Horizon League tilt at the Nutter Center.

Evans finished the game with seven points and four assists, as WSU (18-12, 12-6 HL), which won its second game in a row. Todd Brown paced the Raiders with 19 points, while Ronnie Thomas checked in with 11 points.

Ryan Tillema led UWGB (22-9, 13-5) and all scorers with 28 points and nine boards. Troy Cotton also had a big night, finishing with 22 points.

Neither team shot well from the floor in the first half, but the Phoenix took a 27-26 lead to the break behind four three-pointers.

After Cotton gave UWGB a 64-63 edge on a three-point play with 16 seconds left in regulation, Evans countered with a layup with nine seconds to go for the one-point win.

The Raiders forced 16 turnovers in the game, generating 22 points off those miscues on the night.
