Philadelphia, PA -- (Sports Network) - Dionte Christmas poured in a game-high 37 points to lead the Temple Owls to a 90-85 victory over the Duquesne Dukes in an Atlantic 10 Conference tussle at the Liacouras Center. Sergio Olmos added 16 points to go with six rebounds in the Temple (17-12, 10-5 A-10) win, while Mark Tyndale tallied 15 points and grabbed seven boards. Reggie Jackson posted 25 points to pace Duquesne (16-12, 6-9), while Kieron Achara netted 24 points and grabbed five rebounds in a losing effort. Reserves Kojo Mensah and Bill Clark chipped in 14 and 13 points, respectively. The Owls shot at a 56-percent clip during the first half, opening a 45-38 halftime lead. The Dukes connected on 55.6 percent of their attempts from the field during the second stanza, but the Owls added 17-of-20 from the charity stripe to hang on for the five-point victory. The Dukes were guilty of 19 turnovers in the loss, which led to 25 points for the Owls.
