NCAA Game Summary - Campbell At North Carolina State

Cameron Bennerman made 6-of-8 three-pointers for a game-high 20 points to lead No. 17 North Carolina State to a 99-44 rout of Campbell at the RBC Center.

Julius Hodge collected 16 points, seven assists and seven rebounds for the Wolfpack (4-0), who were coming off a victorious run in the BCA Invitational. Levi Watkins and Jordan Collins added 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Diago Aguiar led the way with 16 points for the Fighting Camels (1-2), who fell to 1-24 all-time versus ACC opponents -- the only win coming against N.C. State back in 1993. Comerlee Poole had a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards.

The Wolfpack controlled play from the outset, jumping out to a 20-4 lead less than seven minutes in after five straight points by Tony Bethel.

Campbell committed 12 turnovers in the first half to help the Pack to a commanding 41-22 lead.

The onslaught continued in the second half, as N.C. State netted 13 consecutive points out of the halftime gates for a 54-22 advantage.

Bennerman tallied 15 of his 20 points in the final 20 minutes en route to the convincing victory.

N.C. State scored 27 points off 21 Campbell turnovers and shot 59.4 percent from the field.

Game Notes:

Engin Atsur recorded 10 points and four assists for the Wolfpack...Watkins had three blocks...The reserves for the Wolfpack outscored their counterparts by a 45-11 margin.
