Loretto, PA -- (Sports Network) - Saint Francis announced late Wednesday night that Don Friday will be its new men's basketball head coach.

Friday, a former long-time assistant under Pat Flannery at Bucknell, comes to Loretto from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pa. He replaces Bobby Jones, who resigned after nine years on the job, during which the Red Flash struggled to an 85-167 record, including 6-23 last season.

Friday will be formally introduced at an 11:30 a.m. press conference on Friday morning.
