NCAA Game Summary - Dayton At Ohio State

(Sports Network) - Kosta Koufos scored 21 points to lead the Ohio State Buckeyes to a 74-63 victory over the Dayton Flyers in quarterfinal play of the NIT Tournament at the Value City Arena.

Jamar Butler added 12 points and dished out seven assists for Ohio State (22-13), which will now head to Madison Square Garden to take on the Ole Miss Rebels in semifinal play of the NIT. Evan Turner tallied 11 points and grabbed eight boards, while Jon Diebler posted 10 points off the bench.

Brian Roberts netted 20 points for Dayton (23-11), while Chris Wright and Charles Little chipped in 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Despite shooting 39.3 percent from the field in the first half the Flyers went into the break with a 31-30 advantage.

Ohio State took control in the second stanza, shooting a stellar 60.0 percent from the floor en route to the 11-point win.

The Buckeyes scored 20 points off 16 Dayton turnovers, while the Flyers posted just eight points off nine Ohio State miscues.
