NCAA Game Summary - Brown At Ohio University

(Sports Network) - Jerome Tillman scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the second-seeded Ohio University Bobcats to an 80-74 victory over the third-seeded Brown Bears in first round action of the CBI Tournament at the Convocation Center.

Leon Williams added 20 points and collected 12 rebounds in the win for Ohio University (20-12), while Tommy Freeman chipped in 11 points. Michael Allen and Bubba Walther tallied 10 points apiece for the Bobcats, with Walther passing out 12 assists.

Damon Huffman poured in a game-high 39 points to pace Brown (19-10), while Mark McAndrew scored 15 points to go with six rebounds and six assists, and Peter Sullivan netted 10 points for the Bears.

The Bears connected on 46.7 percent of their attempts from the field in the opening stanza, including 9-of-18 from long range, to open a 37-32 halftime lead.

The Bobcats shot at a blistering 62.5 percent clip during the second half and converted 13-of-19 from the charity stripe to take the six-point victory.

The Bobcats will play the winner of the Cincinnati/Bradley contest in the quarterfinals on Monday.
