Before you dial a "10-10" number, Call 4 Action reporter Susan Koeppen says you should know that not everyone gets a great deal.

Some people said they were overcharged by hundreds of dollars. They complained and were told that their local phone companies didn't route the calls properly.

Experts suggest using a "10-10" number one time, for one long-distance call, and see what happens when you get the bill. If the price is right, continue using the number. If not, call the company and complain.
