2009 PLUM, Pa. -- Deer smashed through the front window of an insurance agent's office in Plum on Tuesday afternoon, and some of them jumped over an employee. The animals made their surprise entrance at Morry Hoffman Agency on Golden Mile Highway (Route 286) at about 2:30 p.m., said Patrolman Tim Kingerski, of the Plum Police Department."I was sitting right where I am right now (at a desk) and I heard the biggest, loudest explosion behind me, and four deer jumped over my head," Barbie Shlafer told Channel 4 Action News. The doe came through the window and left the same way without injuring anyone.“My brother in-law was trying to corral them back out and we got two of them to go out the door. I thought it was over and he said no, there's still deer back there,” Margie Rothrauff said.According to police, the deer finally ran across the street and into some woods. The Pennsylvania Game Commission was notified but is not responding because all of the deer are already gone, police said.
