A day after Ben Roethlisberger addressed the media regarding sexual assault allegations levied by a casino worker in Nevada, the Pittsburgh Steelers' quarterback is preparing to shoot a television appearance with NBA star Shaquille O'Neal.

Roethlisberger is set to appear in O'Neal's new ABC reality show "Shaq Vs." The two athletes will compete to see who does a better job playing quarterback for the Pittsburgh Colts semi-pro team.

The taping is open to the public at Ambridge Area High School's Moe Rubenstein Stadium. The gates open at 7 p.m. and taping is scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m.

Roethlisberger was supposed to appear at a news conference earlier in the week to promote the taping, but it was canceled in the wake of the news of the assault allegations.

Roethlisberger was served last weekend in Lake Tahoe, Nev., with a civil lawsuit that accuses him of forcing himself on Andrea McNulty in his penthouse-level hotel room in July 2008.

"I would never, ever force myself on a woman," Roethlisberger said Thursday, in prepared remarks. "I did not sexually assault Andrea McNulty. Saturday was the first that I learned of her accusations. Her false and vicious allegations are an attack on my family and on me."

Roethlisberger has not been charged with any crimes. The Douglas County, Nev., District Attorney's Office said it has no record of a criminal complaint ever being filed against him by his accuser.
