MCKEESPORT, Pa. -- A multi-vehicle crash in McKeesport killed a West Mifflin man who was driving a motorcycle Monday morning.
The victim was identified as Jason Cavanaugh, 31, of West Mifflin. An autopsy was being done by the Allegheny County medical examiner's office on Monday afternoon.
Slideshow: Photos From The Crash Scene"I was sitting on the front porch getting ready to go to work and I heard the loud crash, and then I saw the victim laying there," witness Joe Luketic told WTAE Channel 4's Amber Nicotra. "It sends chills up your back. I lost many of my friends on bikes."
Debris from the crash, which happened in front of the Route 148 car wash, littered the roadway.
No charges have been filed. Police are still investigating the fatal wreck.
Police blocked Fifth Avenue near the intersection with Hartman Street for several hours during the early part of their investigation.
