A fire ignited in a vacant row house in Duquesne on Sunday.

Firefighters were called to Fifth Street, where neighboring homes were also damaged by smoke and water.

At least one firefighter was injured when he fell through a stairwell and was burned on his back.

"Whoever lights them shouldn't be doing it because they can potentially hurt someone who shouldn't be in harm's way," West Mifflin Assistant Fire Chief Chris Martin said.

No one else was injured.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
