2009 MT. LEBANON, Pa. -- Drugs, cash and international currency were removed from a Mt. Lebanon home after a search warrant was served Thursday night, and Pittsburgh police said it's tied to an ongoing investigation.Rashid Boumasoud was taken into custody by Pittsburgh narcotics officers shortly after 8 p.m. at his rented home on Cochran Road, across the street from Mt. Lebanon High School.Police took crack cocaine and other illegal drugs out of the home, along with several cell phones, drug paraphernalia and United States and Jordanian currency, spokeswoman Diane Richard said.The Pittsburgh SWAT team was also called because police received information that weapons might be in the house, but no weapons were found, Richard said.Richard did not release more details, other than to say the arrest was related to a drug investigation that is continuing.Boumasoud was charged with possession of cocaine, oxycodone, oxandrolone, hydrocodine and marinol, and possession of drug paraphernalia, Richard said.
